Texas Panhandle golf
The article on Panhandle 9-hole golf was one of the most interesting I have read in
some time. The author was able to make me feel as if I was there. For a
moment the image of Charles Kuralt speaking over the pictures was clear. I
really had never considered the Texas Panhandle as a golfing destination
until now. Would love to see more like this.

Las Americas tournament and Lorena Ochoa spotlight golf in San Antonio
Scheduled for Sept. 17-21, the Las Americas Golf Tournament will feature the world's former top-ranked female golfer in the world, Lorena Ochoa, as well as influential business leaders on both sides of the border. The scramble tournament will be conducted at both the Westin La Cantera Resort Course and Westin La Cantera Palmer Course. And officials hope that the Las Americas will be the first of what could be a big annual event for San Antonio.
