A brand new day in College Station: Jeff Blume revamps Texas A&M's Campus Course
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Designed by Jeff Blume, the new Campus Course at Texas A&M is one of the finest in the country. Blume, an Texas A&M alum, designed this very walkable golf course as a par-71 that can play more than 7,000 yards. There are four sets of tees, a couple of lakes and streams and 158 bunkers.
Blume gave it sort of an early American look, much of the bunkering and greens complexes patterned after the classic courses of the Northeast, like Maidstone and National Golf Links. A couple of holes have double fairways and throughout, there are great views of the Texas A&M campus, including Kyle field.

Despite being on campus, architect Jeff Blume could still get more than 7,000 yards at the new Campus Course at Texas A&M, including 618 on the par-5 15th.
