Having played it yesterday for the first time, your review of Willie's Cut 'n Putt is right on. I can't wait to go back. What a mix of golf experiences. A design that requires shot making, beautiful views (and sounds, the wildlife can be noisy), goat track roughs and 19th century cart paths, greens that seemed to have been imported from somewhere else (and much snootier) and planted there and friendly laid back service in the Hill Country tradition. I am getting together a 12 player foursome and heading back as soon as possilbe. Oh, I forgot the hole signs and maps on about half of the holes, they have to be Willie's joke on the rest of us, but who cares, hit it and go over the hill and enjoy the surprises waiting for you.
