Lost Pines Golf Course

Lost Pines, located in Bastrop State Park, was originally a 9-hole track designed by Leon Howard, but was upgraded to 18 holes in 1997 by Craig Metz. The course is scenic, and the main problem you’ll have with stray golf shots is the abundant trees.

Cabins may be rented inside the park if you’re interested in making a weekend of it.

Getting there : From Hwy. 71, turn right on Hwy. 95. The course is one mile up the hill.

A real diamond in the rough! Inexpensive green fees and elevation changes (especially on the par 3's) make this course an interesting and fun experience. I drive 80 miles one way at least once a month to play this course. It is an outstanding value.
