After opening in November of 1998, Concho Springs has received rave reviews, particularly for its lush, green condition–a rarity for small town courses that border drought-prone West Texas. This is a 9-hole country track with wide-open fairways and large, quick greens. Brady Creek winds its way through the course, coming into play on a few holes. In fact, since the hazards are minimal on this basic little course, one of the biggest challenges is dealing with the surprisingly deceptive greens.
One of the best holes at Concho Springs is No. 3, a long par 5 with a tough dogleg fairway.
Getting there : From San Angelo, drive east on US 87 into Eden. At the intersection of US 87 and 83, turn right onto US 83 and the course is ahead .5 mile
