Lakeview rests along Still House Hollow Lake and features spectacular views, plush fairways, and greens known for their outstanding condition. Unusual for a 9-hole facility, the course offers five sets of tees, ranging in yardage from 2,455 to 3,318 yards.

The finishing hole is listed as the number one handicap, even though it plays as a par 4 just over 300 yards. However, both par 5s play over 500 yards from the tips. The toughest hole might be No. 8, a challenging 205-yard par 3.

Getting there : From Killeen, take Hwy. 190 east, then exit FM 2410 and drive south. Go to the second flashing yellow light (Cedar Knob) and turn right. Drive 2.5 miles to Fuller Ln., turn left, and travel a short distance to to Oakridge. Turn left on Oakridge and continue to Valley Oaks Dr.. Turn right and the course is down the road on the right-hand side.
