Bluebonnet Country Club

Bluebonnet C.C. is a 9-hole, semi-private facility that features wide-open fairways, minimal trees, small greens, and a creek that is incorporated into the design. In fact, water impacts play on five of the nine holes. The layout also incorporates a few dogleg fairways that make strategy a little more important here than on other small-town courses. One of the best features, though, is the fact that for under $30 you can play and ride all day long.

Getting there : From Stephenville, take Hwy. 281 east into Hico. Turn right at the blinking light. Once you reach the Ferry sign, turn left and drive 2 miles to the course. Look for the entrance on the right side of the road.
