Bar K Golf Course

The Bar-K opened in 1970: a quaint little par-3 course with tiny, lightning-fast greens. Hole 2 is the only water hole, but the fairways are lined by old trees that can grab your shots. Wildlife is abundant here–it’s a great place to spend an afternoon if you’re cruising the Hill Country and don’t want to burn 5 hours at a resort course.

Getting there : From Austin, take Hwy. 183 north to Cedar Park. Turn left on RR 1431 and go through Jonestown until you reach Lago Vista. Turn left at the school and make a right on Chestnut Dr..
