Olde Oaks Golf Club

Mexia’s 9-hole course lies over some fairly rugged, hilly terrain with mature oak trees that line the fairways. This is another of the many small-town Texas courses that offers basic golf, small greens, and a green fee that allows you to play all day. Olde Oaks’ main feature is the water hazards that come into play on six holes.
Getting there : From Waco, take Hwy. 84 east, then travel 40 miles to Hwy. 39. Turn south and drive 1 mile to the course.
