Sundance Golf Course

Next door to Gruene, TX, making it the ideal place to combine golf and late-afternoon or evening roadhouse activities at Gruene Hall, Sundance is a par 58 executive course that has also been noted as being one of Golf Magazine’s “Top Fifty Practice Facilities in the Nation.”

The links-style design features water in play on seven holes, but has virtually no trees or sand. The best hole is No. 3, only a 337-yard par 4, but it bends around a large lake that comes into play on the next three holes as well.

Getting there : On I-35 north take Exit 191 and turn left onto Hwy. 306. Drive to the first stop sign and turn left on Common St. The course is on the left a short distance down the road.
