Seguin’s country club dates back to the 1960s and features wide fairways lined with ash, oak, pecan, cottonwood, and mesquite trees, as well as large greens. Four lakes and a creek spot the rolling terrain, which is primarily noted for its long par 3s. The toughest par 3, No. 11, goes 250 yards with water guarding the left side of the green. And while No. 15 is fairly long at 178 yards, it has been taken for numerous holes-in-one over the years.
On the front, holes 5 and 6 require attention. The first is highlighted by a large lake, and No. 6 bends 450 yards uphill. On the back, the most difficult is No. 18, which plays almost 600 yards and features water on two occasions.
Getting there : In town turn right onto Hwy. 725, then continue on for another 4 miles and look for signs leading to the clubhouse.
