Named after the creek that runs through the layout, this is an outstanding course with some of the state’s premier holes. A limestone quarry is incorporated into the design, which provides a spectacular backdrop to the tee shot over water on the 175-yard No. 8.

Cimarron Hills features an impressive Jack Nicklaus designed course in a first-class country club setting, which is fortunately open for public play while the residential community builds itself out. Featuring bent-grass greens that are rare these days in Texas, Cimarron goes a mean 7,302 yards from the tips, but offers three other sets of tees that range from 6,800 to 6,278 yards.

Cowan Creek Golf Course is the newest of three courses that are part of Del Webb's Sun City retirement community. Cowan Creek has a resort-style layout with a front nine that plays through the community, with the homes set well back from the fairways, and a back nine that stretches across the scenic Hill Country landscape.

Georgetown Country Club is an old, private course, dating back to 1924 when it was a 9-hole layout. The second nine was added in the 1970s, and today the par 70 layout rolls through the San Gabriel River valley, with water coming into play on eleven holes.

Legacy Hills Golf Club opened in fall 1996 and immediately gained the respect of the central Texas golf community. Designed by Greg Cash and Billy Casper, the course blends in beautifully with the natural terrain, featuring rolling hills, old oak trees, ravines, and numerous elevation changes, both in the fairway and on the greens.

White Wing Golf Club opened its first opened with nine holes in June of 2000, and followed shortly thereafter with the complete package. Often compared to the nearby 1996 Legacy Hills, White Wing isn't quite as long, but is definitely more narrow, lined with massive old oak trees.
