Azle is located on Texas 199 just east of Eagle Mountain Lake, and only 16 miles northwest of Fort Worth. The town grew in the early years as dairy farming became an important industry that supplied the creameries in Fort Worth. Azle’s proximity to Fort Worth, as well as its position as “Gateway to Eagle Mountain Lake,” have made it a popular commuter community for those who work in the cow town.

El Paseo (555-555-5555) comes highly recommended as the place for Tex-Mex. The Best Western (555-555-5555) in Lake Worth offers the town’s only chain option, but The Hilltop B&B (817-238-7503) is a better option with a pool, cabana, and grill.
