One of the oldest communities in Tarrant County, Benbrook sits on I-20 just south of Fort Worth, where the confluence of the Clear Fork of the Trinity and Mary’s Creek used to provide mighty fine amenities for Indians passing through on expeditions. Today the community has grown as a satellite city to Fort Worth, with most of its residents earning their wages up the road. Golf in Benbrook is relatively new, with a par 3 facility opening in 1993 and the newer Whitestone facility finally bringing an 18-hole championship layout to the town.

Whitestone’s grill, known as McGregors Market Grille, serves all sorts of awesome grub. Just down the road from Whitestone is Riscky’s Bar-B-Q (555-555-5555), a Fort Worth area tradition now for over 75 years. For greasy Mexican fare go to Pulido’s (555-555-5555) or Rio Mambo (555-555-5555), and the Texas Grill (555-555-5555) is the local favorite for delicious burgers. If lustful leanings dictate the immediate need for motel-style accommodations, the Motel 6 (555-555-5555) or Benbrook Inn & Suites (555-555-5555) get the job done. Otherwise spend some money and head to Fort Worth.
