Only two holes lack water on the Lakes Course, designed by Phelps three years after the Creeks opened. No. 9 is the best hole, playing 453 yards with water coming into play off the tee and the approach. A pond protects the left bend of the dogleg and extends to the green. Bogey isn’t bad on this difficult par 4.
Getting there : From I-35 south, take the Trinity Mills exit and turn left. When you come to Dixon, turn left, then look for Frankford. Turn left on Frankford and the course is 1 mile away.
