Indian Hills is a scenic course with a design that makes it extremely enjoyable to play. Only 2,700-some-odd yards from the back tees, this is a short course that features two par 4s under 300 yards, and a par 5 that plays only 420 yards. Walk the course, enjoy the scenery, and swing easy. The most difficult hole is No. 5, a 365-yard par 4 with a tree in the middle of the fairway that impacts the tee shot. Two sets of tees allow for an 18-hole round.

Getting there : From Hwy. 59 south, turn left on Hwy 77 (west). When you come to Ofarrel Road, you are there.

Why does it say you have a driving range when all there is is a net to hit into. No good grass to even hit the net. If the spot beside the net is what your calling the range is even more of a joke. It’s advertise that there’s two tea boxes when it’s one tee box and the same shot from about 10 yards difference. $45 to play a 9 hole course when when most public 18 hole courses in the area are around 30 on weekdays and 40 on weekends. Some free advice. Call it like it is a 9 hole course (with a net). Invite people off the street to at least fill in the tee times that the members don’t book. 15 dollars to play 9 or 30 to play 18 is better than $0 and a empty golf course.

I used to play this course all the time when growing up. It was practically my caregiver from the ages 12-15 as I was there daily. I recently was in town visiting family and decided to play a quick 9 with my cousin. We decided to play Indian Hills because it's the only course in Atlanta and we played it so much in our youth. We even remembered most of the perfect spots to hit the ball. That was a fun experience. Paying $45 to play 9 holes with a cart was NUTS... the memories weren't worth that in my opinion. #4 had a temp tee box in the dirt. #5 had a temp green that was basically just a little shorter grass and a flag stick. Limbs were low on the vast majority of the cart paths. The rough was rough and the fairways were just not what I remembered. We were the only ones on the course at start and finish on a Tuesday morning. MAYBE I'm spoiled with great courses all over Minnesota, but this was not a great memory to pay for. I won't make the mistake again. It kills me that a spot that was so special to me as a kid is the way it is now.
