Ambassador Hills Golf Club

Originally part of Ambassador University, this quaint little course is now open to the public. The design features hilly terrain, tight fairways, small greens of medium speed, and a few sand bunkers sprinkled throughout the design. This is a short course, with all of the par 4s well under 400 yards (No. 7 is 255 yards), two short par 3s, and a 438-yard par 5. Two sets of tees allow for an 18-hole round.

Getting there : From Dallas, take I-20 east to Longview. Take Hwy. 155 north, then turn east on Hwy 80. Follow the signs leading to Ambassador University and the course.
