This is the place to practice your short game in Longview. With holes ranging from 100 to 200 yards, this is a first-rate par 3 course that provides many interesting challenges. If you’re off on the approach shots, the large, undulating greens are easy to three-putt. And if you’re really spraying it, old oak and pine trees dot the landscape, knocking down errant shots. Water hazards impact five holes: two that require a carry of the hazard and three where water lines the hole.
If there’s no time for the regulation courses, this is the place to kill some time if you’re lounging around Longview.
Getting there : From I-20 west to Loop 282, exit Alpine Rd. Turn right and proceed 1.5 miles to the course.
