River Creek Park Golf Course

With awesome views of the Red River and six greens actually on the north side of the border, not to mention the fact that the slope rating from the back tees is only 104, River Creek is worth playing. The course is scenic and has mature trees lining most of its wide-open fairways. The bent-grass greens are well manicured.
The signature hole could be No. 8 with its view of the river, or possibly No. 2: a 178-yard par 3 with water fronting the left side of the green. (Check out the sculpture carved from the large oak tree that died.) No. 12 is a 425-yard par 4 with a water hazard in front and on the right. No. 17 is a par 4 that heads south into the wind towards the pavilion.
On Thursdays the club hosts its Hamburger Scramble at 6 PM, where your green fee includes a hamburger and drink.
