Belle Oaks Golf Club

The golf : Ralph Plummer laid out Belle Oaks in 1955, creating one of the longer courses around at the time. This 18-hole course serves up a few extremely long holes.
This scenic course is also very difficult to score well on. Several holes are extremely long, and water hazards come into play on five holes. Both par 3s on the front play over 200 yards, and four of the par 4s reach well into the 400-yard range, including the 461-yard No. 2.
And while the back features a 232-yard par 3, it's not as lengthy as the front. The best hole is No. 18, a 397-yard ender that features water in the landing area all the way to the green.
Although locals have complained about below-average course conditions in recent years, new management has brought the hope of much-needed improvements.
