Kirbywood Golf Club

Labeled as a confidence builder for the struggling hacker, or the perfect course for a beginner, Kirbywood is an affordable 9-hole course that's fun to play because of its excellent condition. Most of the holes are short, although a few play to a more standard length. Its ease makes it popular, so watch out for the afternoon summer rounds when the crowds come out for golf.

Getting there : Take the Houston St. exit off of US 59 and drive east a few miles to Kirbywood. Turn left and it's a short drive to the clubhouse.
