Indian Shores is a flat country course that's the perfect remedy for shaking the shanks and building back your golf confidence. With the exception of out-of-bounds on six holes and a few small ponds that get in the way on several holes, you can pretty much let it loose here and go low. Missed approaches can be recovered from, since the small, elevated greens roll true and are generally surrounded by terrain that is favorable for ups and downs.
The best hole is No. 7, a 203-yard par 3, but the course serves up a long par 5 as well as a few par 4s in the 400-yard range.
Getting there : From Hwy. 90 east, turn right on FM 2100. Turn left 10 miles down the road on Indian Shores, which will turn into White Feather Trail. The course entrance is on the right.
