Occidental Chemical Golf Course
This 9-holer is only open to Occidental's employees-a seemingly tight-knit group that takes a lot of pride in their golf course. A ditch runs through the course to allow for drainage, presenting the primary hazard on what is generally a very basic, user-friendly course.
Getting there : Traveling from Houston on I-10 east, take Beltway 8 south to Hwy. 225. Drive on 225 west past Center St. until you reach Tidal Rd. Take Tidal north to the course.
