Pine Crest Golf Club

The golf : Derrell Witt had a hand in many of Carlton Gipson's successes, including Houston-area tracks like Greatwood, and the impressive renovations at BraeBurn Country Club. Pine Crest was his first solo project, and he was able to use his background in landscape architecture to move over 250,000 cubic feet of dirt tocreate 13 lakes that form the basis of this semi-private course. The water helps the crew keep it in lush condition compared to other courses in the area.
The best hole is the last one, playing 571 yards into a narrow, tree-lined fairway with an approach over water to the green.
