World Houston Golf Course

The golf : This cow-pasture course was formerly known as H&H, for the H&H Guest Ranch. Developers came along in the 1980s and provided the funding needed to improve the course. In 1984, America Golf took over and continued to improve the course into the 1990s.
The course is well conditioned, wide open, and relatively short, with only one par 4 playing over 400 yards (No. 12). Small lakes dot the landscape, bringing water into play on 14 holes. The course's signature is its excellent greens.

Getting there : From Houston, take US 59 north to Greens Rd., then turn left 2 miles to the course entrance on the right.
