The Falls Resort & Club is located 90 minutes west of Houston in some impressive golf terrain. Dense forests, clear-water lakes, and waterfalls combine to make this place a special golf experience. Designers Jay Riviere and Dave Marr took advantage of the natural terrain to build a spectacular golf course.
Holes of note include the famous 209-yard No. 3, which is known because of the dicey front pin placement protected by little green, as well as sand and water. Another tough hole on the front is No. 6, which plays 407 yards and features a fairway framed by water and bunkers. On the elevated approach, it's hard to hole the green because of the severe slope towards the water. If you're short, the multi-level bunkers will suck in the shot and leave you with a blind beach shot to the green.
On the back, the best hole is the 448-yard No. 17. You can't afford to hit it too long because of the water and woods looming right, and the approach is tough because of the creek in play by the green.
