San Jacinto College Golf Course

On this college course that is open to the public, the main problems are the small, undulating greens and water, which comes into play on six holes. Trees get in the way when you spray it, so play your irons off the tee on this extremely short 9-holer that features five par 4s under 300 yards. Both par 3s play under 160 yards, and the longest hole is No. 8, a 520-yard par 5.

Getting there : From I-10, take Beltway 8 east and turn left on Fairmont. Drive 4 miles passed Red Bluff, and look for Spencer Hwy. Take a left to the course.
