One of only five Texas courses built by the legendary, original Robert Trent Jones, this club has three separate tracks named Robert, Trent, and Jones. The flat course lays out in the Oyster Creek watershed, and is loaded with pecan, oak, and elm trees.
The Robert/Trent 18 plays easier because of its generous fairways, short length, and lack of water (only one hazard). The other two tracks squeeze the tee shots a bit more and have more water. All of the greens are of average size and speed, and a few are elevated.
Other notes: Jones came back in 1992 for a $1.5 million renovation.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to Sugar Creek Blvd. Turn left and drive to the first four-way stop sign and the course.
