Pharaohs is built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk and enjoyable to play. Water hazards (lakes, ponds, and streams) come into play on 15 holes.
Each nine plays to a par 35, featuring only one par 5 on each side. On the front, the par 5 No. 7 plays only 476 yards from the tips, but is listed as the number one handicap. Most of the par 4s play in the mid- 300-yard range, except for the 412-yard No. 9 and the 400-yard No. 14.
If you're hitting the ball well from the middle tees, low scores are definitely possible because you'll be hitting short irons into most holes. In fact, the white tees play under 6,800 yards, and a 200-yard long iron or fairway wood will often get you in great position off the tee.
Getting there : From Hwy 358 west, exit Nile and turn left. When you come to Pharaohs Dr., turn right and the entrance is on the right side of the street.
