The South Course plays down in a valley through large oaks, its signature being the numerous rock walls that come into play. Those walls are most prominent on holes 1 and 17. For the most part, this one is a traditional layout with small, mound-shaped greens. There is no water on the South Course.
Getting there : Driving west on Loop 1604, turn right (north) on Shore Oak Parkway, then turn left on Sonterra a few miles up the road.
