On the rebound
After having considerable trouble with their greens last year, they have made a nice comeback. Tees and fairways were in very good condition. Very friendly staff in club house and pro shop.

The course was in great shape considering the freeze we had this winter, the greens were quick and true as normal. It is always a treat to play this course.

Rawls
Overpriced. Greens were a mess. Bunkers inconsistent. Hard to find grass on the fairway

Give it a month
Always a good time at The Rawls, but the course needs a few more weeks of warm weather for all the grass to grow back. The greens were recently punched but like the rest of the course in a few weeks, they'll be rolling fast and true. If you aren't picky about course conditions go on ahead and play now, but if you prefer a course in top shape do yourself a favor and wait about a month.

Save your money
I appreciate the challenge of growing grass in Lubbock! However, a coarse managed by Troon and a Division one college should be in above average condition. This was not!
