About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in Jan 2018.
Lost Creek Golf Club is located on the southwestern edge of Fort Worth and labels itself “the best golf value in Fort Worth.” The golf course, designed by Leon Howard in 1971, has changed ownership too many times to count and is now a public course. Howard’s design utilizes elevated tees and a tree-lined creek to add character to the course.
While there are two long par 4s, most holes play in the mid-300-yard range, making it a relatively short layout at only 6,388 yards. Holes of note are the 433-yard 13th, featuring a creek that crosses in front of the tee and pinches the fairway along the left side, and the difficult No. 18, where the creek cuts across the fairway twice, making it a long 526-yard hole.
The best tip for approach shots is to keep the ball below the hole, as most of the greens slope from back to front.

Very Nice Course
Great course for the money. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars was the greens were slower than I expected them to be. But the greens were still very good.
Great course for the money!
I have played this course for many years. Had to take a couple of years hiatus from golf and started back up. Love this course. Some holes can be tricky with the trees but overall very friendly course. In my opinion it can be one of the best values in DFW when it comes to price. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
Don't Waste Your Time
Course is in horrible shape. Don't waste your time here there are better courses and better value to invest your time in in Ft Worth.
Run down... Much left to be desired
Pretty much a goat path, if they would invest some money in keeping up the course & facilities it could be a really nice course, it has a lot of potential.
Hole 15?
I think the 15th hole sums up the entire experience at this course. Oh wait there is no 15th hole???!!! Course was poorly cared for. Every green was sanded beyond reason and airated. Lots of construction happening while we were playing as well as obtrusive watering(I'm not averse to playing through sprinklers but when the hoses impede even teeing off it is a little extreme. I would not play here again or recommend it. Even the work they are doing does not seem to be fixing anything.
Enjoyable
Weather was great and fairways were in pretty good shape. Some of the greens were a bit bare but still very playable. Hole 12 had a temp tee box due to some repair work going across a portion of the fairway. I always enjoy playing the course and most of the time it is in very playable condition. I usually play during the week and hardly ever crowded. Well worth the price.
good value
the greens were bumpy. the grass is just starting to green up. they were begining to aerate the rough. bunkers were pretty good. the gas cart will beat you to death. good value for the money though.
Will never play here again!!!!!
I booked over 40 rounds at this course last year but wont be playing there any more this year. The reason for the one star rating is the pro shoe staff (someone named Richard). I had never seen this person before in our many time at the course. I will not go into detail exactly what transpired but we have never been greeted by a more arrogant, rude, insulting and unprofessional person in a pro shop ever. We were so offended that we will never go back again. I sent an email to the general manager (some one named Ron) but never got an answer. I guess they don't need gofers that play several times a week.
lost creek value
I play lost creek frequently. The course is in good shape, the greens are fantastic and the pace of play is always good, Again for the price Lost Creek is a great value, Management and staff are very nice and create a very welcoming environment
Older, shorter track but uses the land very well
Considering this course is in the middle of an older, nicer neighborhood, it uses the land formations very well. The "fairways" leave a little to be desired, but the greens and bunkers were in great shape on the day I played. Ball rolls true on putts and were receptive to approach shots--even up to my 4-iron. I found a special for 11 am, played as a single, and was able to finish in about 2.5 hours.
Overall this is a relatively short course that has quite a few blind shots, so I would definitely recommend checking the course layout before you play and plan your shots accordingly. You can use a driver off many tees, but a 200-225 yard shot is often all that is needed. If you play a fade (right handed), you will love this course!
Enjoy.
First Hole High
course is in great shape. staff was ready to help and very cordial. carts were clean and well maintained. the fairways and greens are in great shape thanks for another day of fun on the course.
Hilly course in a pleasant setting
This course is convenient for me, a pretty course, very enjoyable, I just really like it.
Worth the drive
Great Golf Day, crowded course that played a little slow but the greens were in great shape. My first trip to Lost Creek and I will be back, great deal from GolfNow at $18 each with cart for a noon tee time.
Enjoyable for the price.
The course was fairly well maintained but needs more attention is several areas. Pace of play was slower than expected but finished in 4 hours, following 2 different three-somes. Rain the previous day, and no trap had been raked. One hole had no rake at the green side bunker at all. The price was great, but will only play here if I find another dirt cheap rate.
Great course for fun
this is a great and fun course. I have played the course a couple of times now and was very pleased every time i played. The fairways are in great shape and the greens and bunkers are very will maintained. There are a lot of houses through and around the course. If you get the chance to get out there, you should give it a try. you will not be dissatisfied.
This is a wonderful course to play
I have played this course several times and really enjoy playing here. The course is beautiful and challenging and the fact that it is so close to home makes it a course that I play often.
This is a great course in a very nice area.
This course has approved a lot in the last year need to play it.
This course has a lot of history and personality
Anyone would enjoy p;aying this course. It has alot of history anb personality to go along with great pricing for your money. When I was playing the people at the club very attentative to my needs.
