About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in Jan 2018.
Lost Creek Golf Club is located on the southwestern edge of Fort Worth and labels itself “the best golf value in Fort Worth.” The golf course, designed by Leon Howard in 1971, has changed ownership too many times to count and is now a public course. Howard’s design utilizes elevated tees and a tree-lined creek to add character to the course.
While there are two long par 4s, most holes play in the mid-300-yard range, making it a relatively short layout at only 6,388 yards. Holes of note are the 433-yard 13th, featuring a creek that crosses in front of the tee and pinches the fairway along the left side, and the difficult No. 18, where the creek cuts across the fairway twice, making it a long 526-yard hole.
The best tip for approach shots is to keep the ball below the hole, as most of the greens slope from back to front.

solid course
Lost creek is a nice course with a friendly staff with a nice layout
Still good golf despite the cold winter weather!
I play here at least monthly. The pace is always rapid or at least if you are a single or double and playing fast a larger 3-4 some are happy to let you play thru- very friendly staff and players. The course can allow you to play nearly all of your clubs and you do not lose too many balls if you are a bit off:)
Great value
I enjoyed the course and great value for the money.
Browns, not Greens
Had to institute a 2 put rule. Greens were brown and bumpy.
Good
Course quality has improved substanially over the last couple of years, especially in the Summer when it is hot. I would recommend for anyone, who enjoys the game with a challenge, but real hard.
Combine the above with price of 18 holes green fee and cart is very competitive to the courses in Fort Worth area.
Worth Finding
I really enjoy this course. The bunkers could use a little work but they are improving. There is a good mixture of challenging holes to go along with the easier ones. The pace of play is usually very good. I do wish there was a drink cart on the course. The staff is very friendly.
Putting greens are a challenge
Very nice, Better than Hidden Creek and Southern Oaks.
favorite course in FTW.
Love this course for the price. It's challenging and lots of fun.
great condition and great savings
Enjoy everything about the course and savings. I will definitely play there again and also recommend to my golf buddies
great course
good course ,tough but fair.usally play there once a week.
Value a+
I drove an hour and was very pleased! Will be back great course for the money!
worth the drive.
Nice course located in a older neighborhood. Staff very friendly and helpful. Don't know if this is the norm but never crowded during the day. Course has a nice mixture of elevation changes, narrow and wide fairways and just enough water to make it fun and the greens were in great shape.
lost creek
I didnt enjoy the course before. But i have realized that they put a little more attention to the course. Its in good shape and has challenging holes but overall 4 stars for a public course.
Glad I only paid Under $20
Course was simply in bad shape. I don't recommend this course. Green were bad. CS was mediocre. Pace of play was too long
Hazard play
A less than pleasant experience. Amidst various unpleasantries, I witnessed a man that was charged full price for his 6 year old son to play, $36.
Narrow fairways.
Most fairways are lined with trees on either side along with houses. Driver can be hit on every hole if wanted. Put correct club selection off tee box will help you on second shot and approach.
Great pace of play
I was pleasantly surprised by this course. The last time I played Lost Creek (several years ago) it was rock hard and not very well maintained. I don't know if they have new management or what, but it is in great shape! Very enjoyable atmosphere. Friendly staff. I played as a single and finished in about 2.5 hours. Very enjoyable!
This course is nice
Course was great for money value. Staff was not so friendly. But overall a solid course. The greens and fairways are in good condition.
Perfect Saturday golf!
The course was in very good condition. It was pretty empty so we never had wait to wait on the box. Range was small but useable. Greens were in great condition. Clubhouse needs major renovation and it looks like they are starting on that.
Great Hot Deal
OK course - great value for a "hot deal"
They really need to rid the fairways of crab grass.
