About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in Jan 2018.
Lost Creek Golf Club is located on the southwestern edge of Fort Worth and labels itself “the best golf value in Fort Worth.” The golf course, designed by Leon Howard in 1971, has changed ownership too many times to count and is now a public course. Howard’s design utilizes elevated tees and a tree-lined creek to add character to the course.
While there are two long par 4s, most holes play in the mid-300-yard range, making it a relatively short layout at only 6,388 yards. Holes of note are the 433-yard 13th, featuring a creek that crosses in front of the tee and pinches the fairway along the left side, and the difficult No. 18, where the creek cuts across the fairway twice, making it a long 526-yard hole.
The best tip for approach shots is to keep the ball below the hole, as most of the greens slope from back to front.

Waste of time and money.
Please get a management company out her to revive what should be a great course! Current conditions aren't worth the drive or $30+ fees. Greens are absolutely the worst I've ever played in DFW. Facilities like locker room were a DUMP with trash over flowing on the floor. Sinks were disgusting..
There's a google review that companies the greens to putting on a gravel road...that's accurate.
greens are usually poor
As I've seen here before, the greens are poor, rough, and slow. This course has changed hands numerous times over the years and suffers from this. After three weeks of rain, I chose Lost Creek as a practice round at a cheap price. In their defense, after so much rain the course conditions could have been worse.
l great experience.
Good lay out .Good condition. Great staff. Great value . Over all great experience!
Course needs some work
Overall the course was very average. Two or three blind tee boxes that were not very well represented on the card for a first time visitor to the course. This made is very easy to drive through or over the fairway on two holes in particular. Several greens were in pretty rough shape (although to be fair, it had rained very hard the night before our round). On a good note, the fairways were well kept and in above average condition. We didn't eat at the grill so no comment on the food.
greens?
Issues:
Greens terrible shape
Cart path extremely rough
Restrooms dirty
Hole needed to be cut more often rounded lip on holes
Irrigation nonexistent some areas rock hard others soaked
Staff helpful in pro shop. Well equiped pro shop
Greens need work!
The fairways were in good condition. The new carts had USB chargers which I had never seen before. The greens were pretty bad! I would almost expect a discount for how bad the greens were.
Lost Creek April 2015
I have played this course numerous times, but this was the first time this year, 2015. The greens are in horrible shape, almost unplayable. It looks as though they might have lost them, but due to the rain we have been getting they are coming back. I like playing here, but I won't for a while because of the greens.
Greens need some TLC.
Greens need much care and treatment. Haphazard green cutting (clumps of grass) everywhere on green.
Just a great way to spend the day.
Love this place. Want to play here all the time. Golf 1 x a week and 95% of the time it's here. They are the best. Come join me. You won't be disappointed.
Promise
Lost creek
Good layout fun to play greens no up to par pace of play was good had a good time
Hello
The course had been arriated other than that it was a good outing
Fun Round After The Rains
Have played Lost Creek in the past and it has always been one of my favorite tracks. It had been raining for several days leading up to our tee time so conditions were a bit damp but knew the course drains really well and was not disappointed. Course under the conditions played very well. Little to no standing water. Greens were a bit slow due to the wet conditions but overall a pleasant round of golf on a good course at a great rate.
very narrow fairways will challenge u
greens were rough with dirt clods on them not kept very well. need to be blown off. great Marshall on course his name is Hugh. he said call him Hughbybaby. great day. cart girl stayed on back nine pretty thirsty on front.
Awful
This course was absolutely terrible. Nice layout, would make for a fun course to play if there was any effort put into keeping it nice. I'd have to say the one thing I can't can't complain about was the sand, which I ended up in a lot due to the grass being so short I might as well have been playing on concrete. ALL of the grass was dead. Grass was exactly the same from the tee box to the rough to the fairway to the green. If you even underhand tossed the ball onto the green as soft as you could, you can bet on it rolling all the way across and probably out of bounds. Least fun I've ever had playing golf, wouldn't play this course again if it was free.
great value
I had a discount to play so it was easy to agree with everything! Friendly staff, nice golf shop!
Good track but needs some TLC.
Winter has taken its toll and the course needs a lot of work. Hopefully that will happen with warmer weather.
For the end of January
Playing on the 27th of January the course was in very good condition. The greens(actually brown) were very fast and at times hard to judge. Made for some challenging putting.
I really like this course, it is very challenging and yet enjoyable to play.
