Fox Creek Golf Course

Fox Creek is a traditional, blue-collar course that has improved since the late 1990s, when ownership began improving the conditions. The price is right and it's fun to play, with a wide-open front nine that allows you to warm up, followed by a back nine that offers a little more of a challenge.

Holes 5-8 are considered the most difficult stretch at Fox Creek, consisting of three of the toughest holes on the course. This stretch features two long par 4s, a long par 3, and the number one handicap, 525-yard No. 8.

The course doesn't have any bunkers, so it's advisable to practice your short game out of thick rough to be ready for ups-and-downs after approach misses.

Getting there : From Hwy. 290 west, turn right on 359 and drive 7 miles to the course. The clubhouse is on the left.
