Fair Winds Golf Course

The golf : An older par-3 course with attached driving range, Fair Winds' layout features elevated Bermuda greens, the always-welcome lack of bunkers, and sometimes the occasional pond after it rains. A little more that your standard pitch-and-putt, the longest hole plays 190 yards. Old palm and mesquite trees line the layout. The hardest hole is the longest-No. 7 plays almost 200 yards into a stiff cross wind.
Beware of the winter Texans who partake in league play and frequently bombard the course with groups 30-40 strong during morning sessions. The course is popular because it's a quick challenge.
