Before you visit Riverside golf course, take the time to call 361.575.4321. ask for Ray "Happy Ending" Renya, his omniscience is sure to leave you underwhelmed. Nothing like a cold cup of coffee on a winter day or a tepid beer in the South Texas summer.
"Happy Endings" Renya exemplifies the finest Victoria has to offer.
Whether you need a weather report before you drive from out of town, or a briefing on conditions "Happy Endings" Renya leaves you with that special feeling that only a sheepherder wearing oversized rubber boots gives his flock.
If Ray "Happy Endings" Renya has to get off his iron-bottomed butt to serve you . . . Well -- you really have to ask yourself just one question. Is it convenient for Ray at this time to serve a paying customer while he's at work? [collapse]

With the Red nine being renovated this past year and the White nine a year ago,along with a change in the management Riverside Golf Course has seriously uped it's status as a destination for golfers in the south Texas region.

Great course! For the monies you can’t beat it. 27 hole layout and if your quick you can play 9 more holes. Must see all 27 holes of golf course. I drive all the way from Corpus and my mates used to ask me why I would drive so far just to play somewhere else? Simple Lush Soft Greens. It’s worth the cost in gas. Last time I played they were hurting for rain but once the course is over that it will be right back to where it was NICE and SOFT!
