Mesquite Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Riverside Hills Golf Club) is an 18-hole public course along the Concho River. A short course at only 6,465 yards from the back tees, it is a great place to build your confidence before you try your game at San Angelo's impossible Quicksand Golf Course. The fairways here are flat and there are no bunkers. Despite the presence of the river, there is only water on six holes. Act like a pro and play from the tips, or work on your short iron approaches by teeing off one the two shorter sets of tees (5,922 and 5,297 yards).

Getting there : Located of US 87 N on W. 29th street.

This new Ownership is doing a great job of bringing the coarse back to par, and I am very happy and I cant thank them enough for bringing it back to San Angelo. The hard work and time they have been putting in really shows, and it’s amazing to me how far and how nice it has become in such a short time.

Customer service has always been great for me and they are all very kind and helpful anytime I needed anything.

I gave 5 stars because I truly believe they deserve it, and I can’t wait to see where they go from here!!

The same price as Quicksand but not even in the same ballpark. The greens and fairway were horrible. The only advantage would be getting a favorable tee time to beat the heat since it’s not nearly as busy. The old man working the pro shop also had some racist remarks. Will never be back.
