Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Summit Rock Golf Course is one of four world-class golf courses at Horseshoe Bay Resort. "During the design of Summit Rock, my team and I were challenged to think creatively about how to incorporate the natural terrain, add plenty of spice to the course, while still making the holes playable for a variety of skill levels. The end result is a distinctive course that gives the player more options than most," Nicklaus said. Located in the scenic Texas Hill Country, less than an hour from Austin, Horseshoe Bay Resort has been named one of America's Best Golf Resorts by Golf Magazine.

- Awesome golf course! Excellent greens, well placed bunkers, and maximum use of terrain for challenging golf and some great vistas. Favorite hole was #3 par three where you hit your shot straight into the prevailing wind over a chasm to a table top green. But you must be able to see 20 to 30 miles of hill country when you turn around on the tee and look in the opposite direction. Fun course!
