Formerly known as Oakridge Country Club, Duck Creek Golf Course is a short target course that plays only around 6,500 yards from the tips (par 71) and around a very hacker-friendly 6,000 yards from the white tees. Pesky Duck Creek winds through the course and comes into play on 13 holes. Water is the predominant hazard, with three other holes with ponds, and the greens can be testy because they are small, smooth, and fast.

No. 15 is the signature–a 354-yard par 4 with significant mounding and Duck Creek on the left. The approach is fun because the small green is nestled into a grove of oak trees.

Getting there : From I-75 going N, take the Beltline going east, then get off at the Laurel Oaks Dr exit and make a right. This road will lead you straight to the course.

I live on the 8th fairway of this course, and while my wife and I are still very much beginners, this course is extremely fun and a definite challenge for us! We have played it a few times and each time we get better. The staff is extremely friendly, both on and off the course and the specials are great! I recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenge and a good time!

Played there today with my son. This course is a secret, and when the secret gets out, the owners better put the money back into the overall course. If they do this place will become a gem. Today, the greens were impeccable. The fairways are narrow, but in good condition. Overall the tee boxes are ok, about 1/2 are in poor condition. The condition of the rest of the course needs a major clean up and reseeding. I get the impression, this course is on its way back. This course is not a goat ranch. If you played Grapevine in the early 80's or Mesquite in the early 90's... Then you know what I mean. One comment, this course needs signage on Shiloh, Beltline and Jupiter, and throughout the neighborhood. We look forward to playing here again.

The course was in excellent shape. It is a challenging course as it has many narrow holes and a lot of water. 18th hole, for sure, will make you work, as will a few others. It is a very enjoyable course and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

Nice challenging course. Take food though as there is not a snack bar yet. 18 is a rough hole . . . extremely challenging! Definitely a good time!
