One of Weatherford’s newest residential developments, Crown Valley is open for public play right now, but eventually has plans to become private once the memberships have been filled. The course opened for play in late 2002 with a Steve Mrak-designed course that runs through a myriad of creeks, ponds, and lakes. Mrak ingeniously slated his No. 13 as an “unlucky” 250-yard par 3. From the tips, the course plays 7,100 yards to a par 72.
Getting there : The course is 1.5 miles north of I-20 on FM5/Milkus Rd.
