Country Oaks Golf Course

The golf : Located in the small community of Cross Roads about 14 miles southwest of Athens, Country Oaks is down-home golf at its finest, with super-friendly owners and laid-back golfers who make the day more enjoyable. The 18-hole layout is known for its numerous water hazards and excellent condition. In the spring, blooming dogwoods beautify the course.
The most difficult hole on this hilly track is the par 4 No. 13, which requires a long iron or fairway wood approach into an elevated green. However the course also has a few long, challenging par 5s as well as great par 3s.
Another nice feature is that lunch is included with your green fee if you tee off in the morning.
