Henderson CC is rated as high as the fifth-best public 9-hole course by the Dallas Morning News - this is one of the tracks you don’t want to miss when touring the Piney Woods. The course is known for being in great condition, but the lightning-fast greens will be what you talk about after the round. These greens are large, undulating, and easy to three-putt.

Getting there : From Tyler, take Hwy 43 east and travel 35 miles to Henderson. In town turn onto Hwy. 43 and drive 1 mile to the course.

Ohhhh - what can I say - we paid $35 for walking the course. Everything was horrible - the greens, the fairways and the tee boxes. Maybe it is the time of year - we golfed here middle of February 2013. When we left we said it was the worst course we had EVER golfed.
