Meadowbrook Municipal Golf Course

Meadowbrook, whose original 18 holes dates back to circa 1930, offers 36 holes of golf with its Canyon and Creek Courses. Ralph Plummer laid these out back in the 1940s, Warren Cantrell put his signature here in 1955, then Bob Lohmann came along for another renovation in 1988.
The Canyon Course is the original layout, with wide-open fairways and hardly any hazards. Designed more for the average golfer, Canyon features less water than the Creek Course, but more bunkers. Warm up before you tee off on Canyon because you’ll need to be loose to reach the 585-yard, number-one-rated opener in regulation.
The more challenging Creek Course has narrow fairways and requires many shot-making than the Canyon Course. Hole 6 is the toughest hole–a par 3 playing 230 yards from the tips.
Unlike most big city municipals, Meadowbrook allows you to play all day for the same fee.
