Cypress Lakes Golf Club

The golf : One of the Houston area's newest courses, Cypress Lakes was designed by Jim Fazio, who carved the course out of the thick pine trees and used a significant number of lakes and b nkers to spice up this mounded track. Four sets of tees provide options ranging from 5,351 yards to 7,050 yards at the tips. In addition to the layout, the experience at Cypress Lakes is enhanced by the impressive driving range, which is complete with target greens guarded by bunkers-an unusual look for a basic driving range.

Getting there : Take 290 west to Cypress Rosehill Rd. Turn right and drive to the second entrance on your left, Cypresswood Dr. Turn left on Cypress Dr. and you will find the Cypress Lakes entrance at the end of Cypresswood Dr. (.5 mile).
