Benbrook Lake provides the perfect setting for this unique little 9-hole par 3. Excellent views and short holes with elevated green draw the folks to Frank and Debbie Reynold’s place. Water even comes into play on a few holes, and they’ve even gone to the trouble of spotting the course with several bunkers. No. 2 is the best: a full 8 iron with water looming left. You’ll feel the machismoness when you nail this green.
You can pay once and play all day, and even extend the golf orgy into the darkness of night, since they’ve lighted the course.
Getting there : Take I-30 west to Hwy. 820 and turn south. Drive 1 mile to Winscott Rd. and turn left. Beach is .5 mile down. Turn right and you’ll see the course.

- This course is not designed for whomever to go out and play once. Whether your are practicing, training, or trying to get out, this course is for 'a' golfer. Beautiful course is good fun, but hard course is better practice.This course is in desperate need of a complete overhaul !!
I've been playing it most of this year once or twice a week, for the exercise and, hopefully, to improve my short game. I'm afraid I'm going to have to give up on it. I don't feel like I'm helping myself when I give up 5 or 6 strokes per round to the horrible course conditions. And I'm talking tee to green: Bare patches on the greens. Horrible drainage. Wallowed out tee boxes. Non-existent fairways (just hardpack and weeds). There is no 2nd cut so you might be trying to putt from up against a 2 inch wall of clover.
Our little par-3 suffers from severe neglect. What a shame.I tried to take my 6 year old son to top golf but it was packed as we drove to benbrook

Southern oaks which is obviously much nicer but there is something about a 6 year old being able to hit driver onto a green of a 70 yard hole
He was so excited!
The staff was very nice
